Objective of the committee –

• To establish convergence with industrial and research organizations from various fields through MOUs as a form of interaction.

Functioning of the committee –
- The Industry Institute Interaction is considered as a key aspect for the development of student knowledge and placements.
- The committee goes hands-on with the placement department to facilitate placement activities.
- Industrial visits, Internship Training for the students in various Industries are organized for the students through the committee.
- Guest Lectures and workshops form Industry experts are arranged to enhance the student knowledge to match with the recent trends in technology.
Grievance Redressal Cell
Academic Year 2023-24
Objective of the committee –
It is to deal with the complex situations in a tactful manner to lessen the condition felt to be oppressive or dissatisfied. Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.

Functioning of the committee –
The function of the cell is to investigate the complaints lodged by any student and judge their merit. The Grievance cell is also empowered to investigate matters of harassment.
- Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the mentor / course coordinator.
- In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the mailbox. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the cdoe.support@bharatividyapeeth.edu.in or to the mentor (for online mode), For distance mode students may contact to the mail distance.bharatividyapeeth.edu or respective centre coordinators.
- The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students. The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.
- The Grievance Cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated time limit provided by the cell
- The cell formally will review all cases and will prepare statistical reports about the number of cases received. The cell will give a report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.
Anti Ragging Committee
Academic Year 2023-24
Objective of the committee –
• To educate and create awareness among the students about the ill effects of ragging.
• To inform students about their rights against anti-ragging activities.
• To obstruct the occurrence of ragging by following anti-ragging measures.
• To provide punishment to those involved in ragging as per the orders laid down by the Supreme Court of India and Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999.
• To involve the teaching staff and to invoke a sense of responsibility among the staff to curb the menace of ragging in any of its form.

Functioning of the committee –
As per direction of University has formed the Anti-ragging committee and squad for overseeing the implementation of the provisions of the Supreme Court verdict with immediate effect.
Punishments: Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established by the Anti-ragging committee of the University, the possible punishments for those found guilty of ragging shall be any one or combination of the following
• Cancellation of admission
• Suspension from attending the classes and a high fine will be implemented.
• Withholding / withdraw scholarship and other benefits.
• Debarring from appearing in any examination
• Withhold the results.
Internal Complaint Committee

Objective of the committee –
• To provide safe workplace.
• To develop a policy against sexual harassment for women at BVDU, CDOE.
• To ensure the implementation of the policy in letter and spirit through proper reporting of the complaints and their follow-up procedures.
• To uphold the commitment of the Institute to provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination.
• To promote a social and psychological environment for overall development of the teaching and non-teaching staff.
• To create a secure physical and social environment to deter any act of sexual harassment.
• To evolve a permanent mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases and other acts of gender-based violence at BVDU, CDOE

- To receive and take cognizance of complaints made about sexual harassment at the university and give every complaint serious consideration.
